To commemorate Rabindra Jayanti, musical duo Surendro-Soumyojit arranged an artistic presentation through which Rabindranath Tagore's works were brought into dialogue with the living legend Gulzar. Centuries later, a famous poet and lyricist gave an answer to the poem written by Tagore. A video of this unique initiative was published today on Sourendro-Soumyojit's channel.
Commenting on this poetic adventure, Surendro Mulik says: “We always seek to enrich the canvas of our imagination. We have worked together for the past 20 years and have always sought to create art in the greater diaspora while keeping music as the medium.” I liked it.'' He gave us an open invitation to create something.” Following this, Tagore many years ago wrote a poem about a fictional poet who would read his poems a century later. So we decided that Gurudev should find the answer to this question. Following this, a new poem composed at Gulzar Saab's request was recited in a video. The video unfolds through poets from another century who are currently discussing their thoughts with Tagore. It's his turn to answer all the questions he poses in the poem.
