Supply chain automation company Oii.ai is once again expanding its core team of artificial intelligence and supply chain experts. The company welcomed two new members to its advisory board, Madeline Udel and Trevor Miles.
Madeleine Udell, Algorithm Advisor
Madeline has joined Oii.ai as a Top Algorithm Advisor. She is a former National Level Machine Learning Advisor. Madeline was a tenured professor at Cornell University and is currently a professor at Stanford University. She brings her experience in operational algorithms, machine learning and artificial intelligence to her Oii.ai supply chain to help execute on the company’s vision of optimizing and automating her chain design. Madeleine’s expertise in large-scale data analytics will guide the strategic evolution of her Optii AI product at Oii.
“I am a true believer in Oii’s vision of building a robust supply chain and am very excited to join Oii.ai as an advisor so that I can participate in that vision. We understand the critical need for your supply chain to withstand factors that can disrupt your supply chain.By employing cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence tools, Oii has applied the classic We address the problem by combining deep learning and regression modeling techniques to enhance existing designs while configuring them to withstand the risk of sudden changes in network policies and structures. I look forward to learning and providing insights from a team dedicated to such a complex process.”
“We are excited to work with Professor Udel. She has already helped us achieve new levels of sophistication in predictive modeling of future demand, network performance and supplier variability.” This will enable Oii.ai to anticipate risks in its distribution network and identify effective mitigation measures against those risks,” said Bob Rogers, CEO of Oii.ai.
Trevor Miles, Chief Strategist
For over 30 years, Trevor has advised companies on the development and implementation of supply chain software. He joined Oii.ai as Chief Strategist. Trevor was his leader in his sort of Kinaxis, the world’s #1 supply chain management software company as assessed by Gartner. His experience will bridge the supply chain, AI and software development efforts of the Oii.ai founding team. Trevor brings a new source of innovation and focus to the company.
“I am proud to join Oii.ai as Chief Strategist as they move forward to build resilient supply chains. As a longtime supply chain practitioner, I am excited about Oii.ai. What Oii finds is this intersection between the supply chain fundamentals of optimizing inventory, service and costs, and making it possible with modern technology using artifacts.
The goal is to develop resilient supply chains by design, using intelligence and machine learning. What I love about Oii’s Optii toolset is that it helps organizations address network performance challenges and deal with demand fluctuations in their supply chains. Our fast-paced world requires dynamic tools to meet your supply chain goals. I know this from decades of experience in the industry, and Oii has happily accepted the challenge. “
“Trevor Miles is one of the world’s most respected supply chain professionals, whose knowledge and experience goes from the deepest academic details of supply chain modeling to ensuring products flow smoothly through distribution networks. That knowledge, combined with his experience building and deploying enterprise software, makes him a very attractive addition to the Oii.ai team. I’m so lucky to have you join us,” Rogers added.
Oii.ai is a data science company specializing in supply chain modeling. The company’s product, Optii, utilizes AI, machine learning and digital twin technology to deliver new capabilities to supply chain teams.
