This isn't the first time Alia has been the victim of a deepfake controversy. Last year, a clip of an actress's mannerisms and voice copied into an AI-generated deepfake video went viral online.
Earlier, Rashmika Mandana's deepfake video went viral online, and Mandana said, “It really hurts my heart to share this and I have to talk about my deepfake video that went viral online.'' It will not happen.'' Something like this is honestly very scary, not just for me, but for each of us who are exposed to so much harm today because technology is being misused. Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am grateful to my family, friends, and those who protect and support me, as well as those who make my wishes come true. But if this happened to me when I was in school or university, I really can't imagine how I would be able to cope with this. As a community, we urgently need to address this issue before we become victims of identity theft like this. ”
Amitabh Bachchan also expressed concern over the matter, saying, “This is a strong legal case.”
