Mouser will host a new workshop in a limited space to teach attendees how to use machine learning (ML) when designing edge devices. The company has partnered with Edge Impulse and Silicon Labs to host 45 attendees at this “Machine Learning on Edge Devices” workshop in Munich on June 7th.

As part of Mouser’s mission to drive innovation, first partnerships with leading technology manufacturers were established to help hardware startups and other innovative companies use the latest technologies to create cutting-edge solutions. workshop will be held in EMEA.

“At Mouser, we recognize the growing importance of embedded machine learning and are continually establishing partnerships with key suppliers in the space to help make sense of this trend,” said Mouser. Marc Patrick, Technical Marketing Manager, EMEA, Electronics. “We want to help hardware design innovators understand the practical aspects of this revolutionary technology and make it more accessible.”

Embed ML in edge devices to perform complex tasks such as image recognition, natural language processing, and speech recognition. This empowers design engineers to build products that are more intelligent and responsive to user input. ML can also be used to enhance edge device performance, efficiency, and the entire lifecycle.

Attendees in this workshop will learn the benefits of moving workloads from the cloud to the edge and how Silicon Labs microcontrollers can be used to develop and deploy ML to edge devices. Attendees will also learn how to leverage Edge Impulse software to more quickly build, train, and develop ML algorithms for these MCUs. An added benefit is the experience of working with the product and getting advice from industry experts during the process.
