Since ChatGPT was introduced late last year, we’ve seen a variety of scenarios where ChatGPT can be used, such as summarizing content, generating suggested email copy, or even helping with software programming questions. Now in preview on Azure OpenAI Service, his ChatGPT allows developers to integrate custom HIS AI-powered experiences directly into their applications. This includes extending existing bots to handle unexpected questions, restructuring call center conversations for faster customer support resolution, and creating new personalized ad copy. Offers, billing automation, and more. Cognitive services can be combined with Azure OpenAI to create compelling use cases for enterprises. For example, see how Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Search can be combined to use conversational language to get a knowledge base of your enterprise data.

A Responsible Approach to AI
We’ve already seen the impact AI can have on people and businesses as it boosts productivity, boosts creativity, and helps enhance everyday tasks. We are committed to ensuring that AI systems are developed responsibly, work as intended, and are used in ways people can trust. Generative models, such as ChatGPT and DALL-E image generative models, are models that generate new artifacts. These types of models create new challenges. For example, it can be used to create compelling but imprecise text to create realistic images that never happened.
Microsoft employs four levels of tiered mitigations designed to address these challenges. They comply with Microsoft’s Responsible AI Standard. The first is application-level protection that leaves it up to the customer, for example explaining that the text output was generated by AI and having the user approve it. The second is technical protection such as input and output content filtering. The third is protecting processes and policies, from systems to fraud reporting to service level agreements. And the fourth is documents such as design guidelines and transparency caveats to explain the model’s benefits and what to test.
We believe that in the coming months, AI will significantly change the way we work and run our organizations. To respond to this moment, we will continue to take a principled approach, listening, learning, and improving to guide AI in ways that ultimately benefit humanity, while making AI systems accountable. to be used with
