Federal conducted a special survey of Taiwan's artificial intelligence supply chain and selected 50 Taiwan-based companies into the “Top 50 AI Operational Performance” list. Operational performance is a proprietary index of the magazine based on six financial indicators, including long-term growth over the past three years, annual performance, and company size.
The 50 companies surveyed come from a variety of industries, including module factories, ASIC design service companies, server providers, and test and assembly companies. The publication's focus reflects the current AI industry sentiment. Amid sluggish demand for laptops, smartphones, and general servers, the aggressive AI arms race led by US cloud giants such as Microsoft and Meta emerged as the most prominent and powerful source of technology demand. Taiwanese companies riding the AI wave not only saw their stock prices soar, but also secured significant growth momentum for this year and next.
