The partnership will incorporate AimLock's systems into Overland AI's unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The purpose of this integration is to provide a multi-mission solution that incorporates a human-involved methodology for military personnel.

Overland AI's UGV, aimed at modern combat aircraft, incorporates AimLock's system to enable operations in contested environments such as GPS-denied zones and communications-jammed areas.

Byron Boots, co-founder and CEO of Overland AI. “Overland AI is transforming warfighter capabilities through robotics and artificial intelligence, increasing safety and effectiveness on the battlefield.

“We are especially proud to partner with AimLock, whose multi-mission solutions demonstrate the versatility of payload integration and provide a decisive advantage to the military across any terrain or domain.”

In addition, AimLock's system, powered by a core targeting module known as Keystone (CTM), improves the speed and accuracy of Overland's UGV decision-making across a variety of mission sets. These include Counter-UAS, Direct Action, Force Protection, Integrated Defense, Support by Fire, and Strike Anti Armor.

Overland AI's UGV is also compatible with a variety of AimLock systems, including Spur, Rampart, Summit, Switchback, and ROLS, allowing for configuration to meet the end user's precise athletic engagement needs.

This integration will be showcased at an upcoming Association of the United States Army (AUSA) event.

AimLock CEO Brian Bockmon said: “The evolution of autonomy on the battlefield is changing the very nature of ground operations as we know it, and our systems are at the forefront of helping warfighters defeat their adversaries.”

“We are proud to partner with Overland AI to bring AimLock’s autonomous systems to UGVs and support their mission to equip the military with the most advanced and reliable autonomous solutions to increase ground power and save lives.”

In August 2025, the U.S. Army awarded Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) to three companies, including Autonomy for Overland AI for Uncrewed Systems (UxS).
