Recently, VFX artist GdaTyler VFX created a deepfake of Heath Ledger’s character Joker without his iconic make-up. This video has caught the attention of many people. GdaTyler VFX also shared the process and challenges they faced during creation.
“This is using the DeepFaceLab AMP model. I tried using the DF-UDT model, but it didn’t give me the results I wanted. Regarding the eyes, it’s not just looking up, but also some extreme For some scenes, I decided to use the original eyes as they were. I tried editing the model before training it, but it made things worse. I could try manual color matching to get close, but that’s a bit beyond my current skill set. All in all another test with the AMP model and I’m overall happy with it. As usual it needs a lot of improvement but as time goes on I’m still learning this software ‘ wrote GdaTyler VFX in the post’s caption.
