Visual discrepancies suggest AI manipulation

Newscheckers observed several visual anomalies in the viral video, including a child’s legs appearing unnaturally blurred and a cloud of dust around a cow’s foot lacking a consistent texture and sometimes disappearing completely. Such discrepancies are common in AI-generated visuals.

A reverse image search of keyframes found a clearer version of the video uploaded to YouTube by @aloisionaroca on October 28, 2025. The description, translated from Portuguese, read: “Cow protected by boy #sora.” [OpenAI’s AI video-generating model] #shorts” includes a disclaimer indicating modified/synthetic content.

AI detection tools confirm synthetic origins

To verify authenticity, Newschecker tested the clip using Hive Moderation’s AI detection tool and concluded that the video was 97.6% likely AI-generated or deepfaked.

Additionally, Newschecker consulted the Misinformation Combat Alliance (MCA)’s Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU). DAU experts performed multiple frame analysis using leading AI detection platforms.

These independent assessments consistently confirm that viral videos are synthetic content.
