Narrato, an AI content creation and collaboration platform, has raised a $1 million pre-seed round led by AirTree Ventures, a venture capital firm with a portfolio of breakout technology companies including Canva, Linktree, Immutable and Employment Hero.
The round also saw participation from TheFund, a community-driven global venture fund, and several leading angel investors, including OfBusiness co-founders Ruchi Kalra and Bhuvan Gupta, and serial entrepreneur Shreesha Ramdas. .
The company said it will use the funds to further develop and enhance its platform, while also investing in marketing to further penetrate the U.S. market.
Narrato’s platform enables users to conceive, create, collaborate, and publish content all in one place using generative AI. The startup was founded in January 2022 by serial entrepreneur Sophia Solanki, with over 16 years of her experience in the content and marketing space. The company already counts an impressive line-up of clients including Chargebee, Preply, Zepto, Park+ and Rocketlane.
“Customers often told us how difficult and expensive it was to scale their content processes while ensuring both quality and efficiency. Creating content using generative AI There are point solutions for this, but there is a huge opportunity to embed this functionality deeply into existing marketing workflows,” says Solanki.
“By building Narrato as an AI-powered content workspace, companies can leverage their entire marketing workflow and seamlessly use AI at the right time.”
Over the past decade, businesses have increasingly witnessed the impact of content marketing. He has a higher ROI than paid marketing, is more cost effective than expensive advertising, and makes more sense in the current marketing landscape.

The content marketing sector is expected to grow by $584 billion between 2022 and 2027. Creating content is laborious and time-consuming, but the problem Narrato argues can be solved by using generative AI as an assistive technology.
